Packaging, especially those in supermarkets have only 3 seconds to grab the attention of a consumer as 70% of purchase decisions are made at the shelf. A piece of packaging therefore has to work hard to do 3 things, ultimately sell the product and stand out against the white noise of it's competitors, protect the product and faciliate the use of the product.
